Sending Good Vibes January 2021

SENDING GOOD VIBES
SENDING GOOD VIBES
Faux the love of animals has been our theme this month. Our new spring collection is inspired by the ways animals coexist and we are expanding on that through Sending Good Vibes. Experience safaris in faraway lands dedicated to wildlife conservation, and learn about the Chinese Zodiac, artists and music inspired by animals as well as rescue organizations in our own backyard. Stay wild.
YEAR OF THE OX
A powerhouse of an animal, the ox is here to transform the negative challenges that came along with the Year of the Rat (2020) into positive outcomes for 2021. The Ox is best known for its honest and calm nature, great strength and unwavering determination. Ox year is the perfect time to tie up any loose ends and focus on creating balance and structure. Slow and steady wins the race for 2021. Expect to see the results of your hard work pay off, but in the meantime, keep cool, stay focused and carry on.

When Sage Sohier started photographing people in the late 1970s, she often included their companion animals. “Life is richer, more vivid, more comical,” Sohier once said, “when humans and other animals coexist.” In 2019, Stanley/Barker published “Animals,” a 104-page book of her intimate black-and-white studies of pets and their people, and this summer, Kehrer Verlag will release “Peaceable Kingdom,” Sohier’s book about people who rescue animals.
